Advice and support for hospice patients, families, carers and healthcare professionals, available day and night.
Physiotherapy and occupational therapy to build confidence and support movement, independence and everyday activities.
Therapeutic activity groups and one-to-one sessions for people with advanced illness and their carers.
Practical, emotional and financial guidance for patients and the people close to them.
Support for patients, families and friends, whatever their personal beliefs and whether they are religious or not.
Support and resources to help people understand their grief and navigate life after someone dies.
St Michael’s Hospice supports adults living with a life-limiting and progressive conditions in Hastings and Rother. Access depends on the service required.
A referral can be made by a GP, Community Nurse or Therapist, Macmillan Nurse, Hospital Consultant or another Hospice service. The Hospice team will then make contact to discuss the person’s needs.
A person can refer themselves directly for bereavement support or be referred by a healthcare professional.
Family members and carers can contact us directly to discuss accessing support.
